When you take part in any of our proficiency testing schemes you will automatically be entitled to access our range of extended services via the fapas secure web portal.
online submission of results
Reporting results has never been easier. Simply log in and click the "Submit Results" button for the test you are taking part in. A results-reporting screen provides instructions and submission notes for your specific proficiency test. A data-driven grid will then allow you to submit results for individual analytes or organisms within each matrix in that test. You will also be able to submit your own comments, or tick the "not tested" box if there were certain analytes you did not test for. A printable confirmation screen removes the need to fax or post your results.
keep a track of your proficiency tests
When you log into fapas secureWeb you will be presented with a personalised list of proficiency tests. The system displays the start dates of the proficiency test, the test number and the matrix you will be testing. Your future and historical proficiency tests are also available to you from within the secureWeb portal. If you realise that you have made a mistake, you can get in touch with us and we can allow you to re-submit your results (up until the date the test closes). Your historical results are available to you even after the test has finished.

The system ensures that only you have the ability to enter your own results. Nothing can be lost in translation as grainy faxes are transcribed. You data goes straight from your keyboard to our system, and from there to be reviewed and analysed by our expert team of statisticians.

As soon as you submit your results you will be allocated a laboratory number. This number will represent your comparative performance in the report, whilst maintaining your anonymity.
method submission
Another of our exciting new features is the online submission of scientific methods. With a simple, easy to use form, you can answer questions and even "copy up" your method from analyte to analyte, changing only those parts which are relevant. Like the results submission, your reported method results are available to you whenever you log into the system.
track & trace
In conjunction with DHL, we have developed a track and trace facility, so that you can view the status of your delivery in real time from within your fapas web portal. We have also recently implemented an automatic email system which notifies you whenever a sample is being dispatched by courier, so that you can keep an eye on the status of your delivery.
